Michael Crain has an extensive background in San Francisco Bay Area real estate spanning 17 years. He worked as an agent and principal for numerous types of real property including: commercial office buildings; commercial and agricultural development projects; commercial vineyards and agricultural investment properties. He holds a California Real Estate Sales License and a Certified Real Estate Appraiser License. He is a former Commercial Real Estate Agent, Bank Commercial Lending Officer and is currently Managing Partner in various private real estate investment partnerships involving north-coast vineyard properties.

Michael's past affiliations include experience as a Licensed Real Estate Agent with L.J. Hooker International, a San Francisco financial district commercial real estate brokerage; a Commercial Lending Officer with Wells Fargo Bank, N.A. and Citibank, F.S.B. He became Vice President at Cambial Financing Dynamics, Inc., a strategic financial management consulting firm in San Francisco. In 1998, he received the additional title of Managing Partner of Cambial Vineyards, LLC, a San Francisco investment partnership that transacted over $20,000,000 in vineyard land transactions in the Napa Valley from 1998 through 2000.

Since early 2001 his focus has been directed toward investment and appraising activities in Sonoma, Napa, Solano, Lake and Mendocino counties. He joined Blakeslee and Associates in 2001.

In 2003 Michael co-founded Blakeslee & Crain Land Services, a full service real estate sales, consulting and appraisal business specializing in estate and agricultural properties in Sonoma, Napa, Marin, Solano, Lake and Mendocino counties. Blakeslee & Crain Land Services serve clients located throughout the Redwood Empire and the United States.
